В прошлом году выходцы из компании Google основали стартап Jide, в рамках которого была создана новая операционная система под названием Remix OS. В ней есть панель задач, меню запуска приложений, многозадачность и возможность работы в оконном режиме. При этом сама система построена на базе Android для х86-процессоров. Стоит отметить, что в течение всего прошлого года разработчики занимались развитием своей системы, и теперь они готовы представить альфа-версию Remix OS 2.0, основанную на Android Lollipop. При этом познакомиться с новой операционкой могут все желающие.
Процесс установки Remix OS 2.0 достаточно прост. Для того, чтобы опробовать новую операционную систему, пользователям понадобится только образ и флеш-накопитель объёмом не менее 8 ГБ.
Необходимо помнить, что Remix OS 2.0 всё ещё находится на стадии альфа-тестирования, поэтому вы можете столкнуться с многочисленными багами.

Remix OS for PC is now available for download. It is built on the Android-x86 project. With this new OS, you can access 1.6 million Android apps on your PC which were running Windows. Setup is simple and safe for your compatible PCs. Once you've completed the installation, you can boot up your PC using either Remix OS or whatever OS was natively installed on your machine. With Remix OS for PC, you can also install it a USB stick so that you can literally take your Remix experience wherever you go. With most computers in the world powered by x86 chipsets, you should have no trouble finding the right hardware to run Remix OS.
